The Canada Warbler Migration

The Andes Mountains of Colombia might seem far away for a tiny Canada Warbler, but it’s no match for this ambitious bird! Each year, this migratory species makes the trip from its winter home in the Andes to its summer nesting grounds in the Boreal -- crossing thousands of miles, traversing oceans, and passing through many of our backyards on it’s journey. Just one of many migratory birds that relies on BOTH of these locations for its survival, and another reminder of why we need to collaborate on conservation.
