Edéhzhíe: Canada’s New Indigenous Protected Area

Edéhzhíe is a new Dehcho Protected Area/National Wildlife Area conserving more than 14,000 square kilometres of boreal forest, clean waters and caribou grounds in the Northwest Territories. The Dehcho First Nations took the lead in protecting these lands.
